Not bad. Mesopotamian cultures was a sacred tree symbol, but our Christmas tree is derived from the burning Yule log Tradition North! Originally, the "decorated Christmas Tree" and then burned.

Sometime Midlde INTHE age or later (not sure when) someone the idea of "depaganizing" had and wrap it with ornaments and gifts to share.
